Catherine Farrer - Head Nurse
Catherine qualified in 1991 and worked as a Head Nurse in a large, busy, mixed practice before taking a break to have her 3 children. She continued her career as an Emergency / Critical Care Nurse before joining the team of qualified nurses at Dart Vale in 2011.
Catherine has a passion for all things equine, B.H.S.A.I qualified. She enjoys competing her horses and riding over Dartmoor with her 2 dogs alongside.
Catherine also has sheep and is very busy lambing in the spring.
Stephanie trained and qualified as a VN in the early nineties at the Blue Cross Animal Hospital, Victoria London. She also did a part time degree in Biomedical Sciences and then left nursing and worked in their laboratory performing various diagnostic tests including haematology, biochemistry and microbiology. She
left London to get away from city life and came to Devon at the start of 2009. She worked at Axiom for almost 3 years and then came back into vet nursing in Dec 2011 when I joined Dart Vale Veterinary Group.
She has a cat called Sushi (stray from Dart Vale), and is just about to start keeping tropical fish. She sometimes walks her neighbour's German Pointer, Wilson, on the beach or in the woods.
Interests: reading, watching films, walking on coast and Dartmoor, travel, astronomy and wildlife.
Annabel joined Dart Vale in 2012 after graduating from Harper Adams University with a foundation degree in veterinary nursing and is based at the Brixham practice. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend Niel and Springer spaniel Trigger and having cuddles with her Guinea Pigs.
