Jonathan Dimbleby officially opens the Totnes Practice — Last update at 4:22 pm on March 21, 2011

Dart Vale Veterinary Group celebrated the Official Opening of their brand new purpose built practice in Totnes with a public open day. 

Jonathan Dimbleby, presenter of ‘BBC Radio 4 Any Questions’ officially declared the new building open at 10.30am. A large crowd of clients was present to witness the occasion as Mr Dimbleby revealed a commemorative plaque to mark the event. 

Guests were then able to view the new practices facilities and take part in competitions to win an Amazon Kindle eBook Reader, 20Kg bag of Hills Pet Food, a bottle of champagne and discounted microchips.

Our First Client – Rascal Millman — Last update at 2:12 pm on February 28, 2011

Pictured with Jennifer is our first client a cute little Jack Russel called Rascal Millman with his owners.  Rascal came in to start his vaccinations and to get wormed. 

We also micro-chipped him so if he was to wander off there would be a good chance he would find his way back.  We all look forward to seeing Rascal back in 2 weeks for his second vaccination.

I have just seen the last ever animal to be treated at our old Totnes Practice in the High Street. Another Chapter of Dart Vale Veterinary Group has just ended but now we start a Brand New one in the fantastic new premises on Station Road. Can’t wait to start working there on Monday!

All of the Totnes staff have been busy today with the help of Beacon Removals and our builders, Arque, to move everything from our old surgery to Station Road.  The x-ray machine was a bit tricky but team work prevailed and almost everything is in place ready for Monday.  Finishing touches and final positioning of furniture will occur over the weekend.  We are all really excited now and can’t wait to welcome you to the new surgery.

The builders have almost finished work on our new purpose built Totnes practice and we have pleasure in announcing the opening date as the 28th February.

The new practice is located on Station Road between the Morrison’s Petrol Station and China Blue.
Our new address will be Dart Vale Veterinary Group, Station Road, Totnes, TQ9 5JR.
Our consultation times will also be changing to appointment only Mon-Fri 9-11am and 3.30-6.30pm and Sat 9-10am and 4-5pm.

   Our new surgery is progressing well and the final touches are starting to be applied.  The walls are being painted and flooring is being laid.  Our new equipment will be installed very soon.  Look out for details of our grand opening.
