Feeding of Puppies
Feeding from 8 weeks of age upwards:
Feed 4 meals a day.
- Breakfast - A milky meal - scrambled eggs, rice pudding, weetabix etc with skimmed milk.
- Lunch - Canine Hills Growth - if your puppy is going to be over 25kg in body weight when fully grown you will need to ask for the larger breed of canine growth. This is an all in one diet so there is no need to supplement the diet with extra vitamins and minerals. This is important if you decide to feed a homemade diet.
- Tea Time - Canine Hills Growth
- Dinner - As Breakfast feed
By 12 weeks of age you can leave the Dinner meal out. Then at 6 months of age leave the Breakfast meal out and spread the Lunch and Tea Time meal apart
When your puppy becomes an adult you can decide whether to continue to feed your dog 2 meals a day or cut it down to one meal a day.
