Feeding instructions for animals suffering from digestive upsets including Gastro-Enteritis First
24 hours:
- No food at all. Small quantities of Lectade electrolyte, if given by the Veterinary Surgeon, or warm water to drink.
Following 5 days:
- Light diet. Small amounts several times a day:- Hills i/d prescription diet this comes in either a tinned or dry form.
This is an easy diet to feed if you are short of time or unable to prepare a light diet or you may feed fish, rice, chicken, pasta or plain boiled rice. Then over the next 5 days gradually introduce your pets normal diet, so by day 5 he/she will be completely back onto their normal diet.
